Spill events can have significant and lasting environmental damage. Ecological Solutions has worked on a significant spill event that impacted an Auckland stream and estuary in recent years. In a time critical situation we were able to organise the project team and mobilise immediately to be on site. We were responsible for assessing the effect of the spill on the water quality, sediment quality and ecology of the stream immediately after the event, providing advice for the remediation of the impacted environments.
